About the house
The Haus an der Zirbe is located at the entrance to the village, just a few minutes' walk from the centre, and offers a magnificent view of the Lagorai mountain range. The flat for our guests is spread over two floors and consists of a kitchen, two bathrooms with shower, a bedroom with double bed and a living room with sitting area and two sofa beds. There is a large terrace on the ground floor for barbecues, al fresco dining or simply relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying the view.

The village
Founded 700 years ago at the will of the Prince of Tyrol through the settlement of 10 farmsteads, Anterivo is still the only German-speaking municipality in the Fiemme Valley. It has about 400 inhabitants who live in the main village and the districts of Guggal and Eben. Altrei has retained the charm of an independent, alpine mountain village, which is rooted in its culture and lives authentically.
In the village there is a grocery shop, a bar and various services for daily needs. The Kneipp facility is a popular excursion destination, especially in summer.
Anterivo is located in the heart of the Trudner Horn Nature Park, which is also a Natura 2000 area. A variety of valuable herbs and useful plants thrive on the sunny plateau formed from porphyry rock. For example, the Altreier lupine is cultivated here, a bitter lupine that blooms in a vivid blue colour, is used as a coffee substitute and is used in a variety of ways as Presidio Slow Food.
The enchanting landscape is ideal for short and long hikes in the nature park.
Our philosophy
“Haus an der Zirbe” was born from the idea of leaving a piece of fertile land for future generations. In Altrei we have found the ideal place to develop a lifestyle in harmony with nature, which allows us to return to self-sufficiency. From our garden, which we cultivate according to permaculture principles, we obtain fruit and vegetables; our hens provide us with fresh eggs every day, our bees delicious mountain honey. The forest around us provides us with berries, small fruits, medicinal herbs and game. With our project, we aspire to a simpler lifestyle and a reduction of our impact, through less waste production and the use of local resources. In this environment, we want to invite our guests to enjoy with us the beauty of nature and the tranquillity it conveys.
